Personal

Dr. De Jong resides in Belleville, IL, with his wife and two dogs. He enjoys watching sports of all types as well as staying active in running, lifting weights, hiking, and sailing.  He spends time regularly with the youth group at First United Presbyterian Church of Collinsville, where his wife serves as youth director.  He also shares teaching responsibility for the junior high Sunday school class and serves as an elder.
